The Dancers

Ellen Morrison

Ellen is a premier highland dancer and has been dancing competing and Winning Highland Dancing Competitions for 17 years. Ellen is currently the highland captain at Heriot Watt University after serving as Vice Capatin in 2024. Ellen has built lifelong friendships and developed confidence, skill and discipline. “I’m looking forward to what the future holds!”

Lisa Ferguson

Lisa has been dancing since she was 9 years old. She has qualified top 20 in the World Championship and Won the Coveted City Of Edinburgh Confined Championship. Lisa has competed competitively around the world including America and DisneyLand Paris. Lisa is very excited to share her passion of Highland Dancing to all the 1745 audience members!

Naomi Morrison

Naomi has been Highland dancing for over 20 years. While at Heriot-Watt University, Naomi was Highland Dance Captain for 4 years, leading the team to win several trophies at competitions across Scotland and England. Naomi says “Dancing has given me amazing opportunities to perform, compete, and connect with others, and I really enjoy sharing that experience with the team.”
